Deal Street, carrying concealed weapon, $1200 bond, secured. Michael Anthony Brown, 32, of 59 Pine Manor, resisting arrest, assault on officer, damage to city property, $500 bond, secured. John Doe, General Delivery, age not given, delaying and obstruct, drunk and disruptive.The suspect refused po- lice to give his identity. Tommy Goins, 38, of Route 1 Cherryville, drunk and disruptive. Deborah Lynn Spencer, 18, of route 6, citation, possession of spirituous liquor by person under age 21 in vehi- cle. Deborah Elaine McGinnis, 20, Route 6, citation, possession of spiritu- ous liquor by person under age 21 in vehicle. George Tarbush, 47, of 1616 Shelby Road, drunk and disruptive at Orr Terrace Apartments. William Lewis Davis Jr., 47, 215 Willow Lane, Shelby, driving while li- cense revoked, carrying concealed weapon. Police said Davis and George Tarbush were involved in a domestic dispute. Tarbush was reportedly armed with a bow and arrow and Davis was reportedly carrying a machete. Molly Bradshaw, 18, of 113 Morris Street, drunk and disruptive, $200 bond, unsecured. INCIDENTS The Pantry, Phifer Road, reported larceny of $5.95 worth of beer. Rodger Lynn Stoll, 1015 Sherwood Lane, reported that vandals burst out the front of his VCR with a ball bat do- ing $530 damage. James Mason, 518 Harmon Court, reported theft of his Tecunsea lawn mower, green in color. Express Store, Kings Mountain, re- ported larceny of four packs Selecto ham valued at $7.56. Bobby Camp, 506 Bridges Drive, reported that vandals used a sharp ob- ject and scratched the paint on his 1989 Ford Tempo. Floyd Collins, 218 Orr Terrace, re- ported that window panes were knocked out at his residence. Linda Procter, 119 Tepee Drive, re- ported that a camper cover, circular saw, a Jigsaw, rubber made garbage can and six bundles of shingles were stolen from the home at 802 Gantt Street her family is remodeling. Brenda Barber, 407B Cherry Street, reported someone burst the window glass on the passenger side of her 1982 Buick. Kenneth Andrew Stewart, Route 3 Bessemer City, reported theft of an au- tomobile tag. The number is CZE- 4338. Brenda Huss, Apt. 2D Kingswood, reported theft of $30 from her purse. First Presbyterian Church, King SE NRRL Re Street, reported vandalism to a bill- board on the front lawn. Nicholson Heating reported an inci- dent of a customer obtaining property by false pretense. A customer reported- ly changed a check from $13.10 to $113.10 and cashed it. KM Express Store reported theft of 16 packages of meat from a cooler. Kenneth Dalton reported vandalism to his porch. Alfredo Balenado, 11, of 403 Brice Street, was bit by a dog on the right hand while he was playing baseball in his yard. The dog was confined by the Kings Mountain Animal Control Officer for 10 days, under law. Frances McCluney, Pine Manor Apartments, reported theft of a $300 television set during a break-in. Olland Smith, 702 Huntingtown Drive, reported that his mailbox was knocked down. Policemen, on routine patrol, dis- covered that trailer No. 18 at Wix Corporation warehouse, Broadview Drive, had been vandalized. Upon in- vestigation, they recovered three boxes of plastic dust covers for Volvo air fil- ters which had been removed from one of the trailers during a break-in. Kay Phillips, 48 Pine Manor, report- ed that vandals pried open the door of her apartment and took an assortment of goods,including 30 pounds of steak, 20 cartons of cigarettes and old money in silver and bills. WRECKS APRIL 13 Ptl. Joel W. Hendricks Jr. cited Kenneth Earl Summitt, 1013 A Linwood Drive with safe movement violation after an accident at Marie and Floyd Streets involving Summitt's 1988 GMC truck and a 1982 Ford truck operated by Johnny Lee Cogdell, 607 Mauney Avenue. Damages were estimated at a total of $2375. APRIL 14 A parked vehicle owned by James Colonna of Chester, Va. was damaged $500 by a hit and run driver at Holiday Inn parking lot, said Ptl. Rene Rikard. APRIL 15 Ptl. Joel W. Hendricks Jr. said a 1977 Dodge operated by Danny Joe Bridges, 828 N. Piedmont Avenue, was attempting to back out of a parking space at McDonald's parking lot and struck the left rear corner panel of a 1985 Lincoln owned by Glenda Kaupp Green, Route 6, doing a total of $300 damage. R. K. Rikard cited Johnny Leroy Wilson, Jr. with unsafe movement after Wilson backed out of a driveway onto Morris Street and struck a 1987 Chevy truck operated by a 16-year-old driver and doing a total of $4500 damage. The truck was traveling east on Morris Street. APRIL 20 A hit and run was reported to a 1983 Pontiac owned by Eoline Keeter Hord, 200 N. Cleveland Avenue. The car, which was damaged $400, was parked at Harris Teeter parking lot. | Crime Of The Week | The Kings Mountain Police Department, through Crime Stoppers, is seeking information regarding the recent breaking, en- tering and larceny from the resi- dence of Gaynelle Ruppe, 506 East Ridge Street, Kings Mountain. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 15, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Ms. Ruppe reported that person or persons unknown entered the residence by prying open a window on the southwest side of the resi- dence. After entering the residence A rear end collision involved a 1987 Pontiac operated by Debbie Jovonna Whiteside, 22 Carolina Garden Apartment, which rear-ended a 1987 Ford operated by Ronald Kevin Ramey, 701 Princeton drive, doing a total of $1200 damage. The Ramey car was stopped in the lane of travel on King Street to allow the vehicle direct- + ly in front of him to turn. APRIL 22 Toni Lawson, 904 First Street, was treated at Kings Mountain Hospital af- ter her 1979 Chevrolet ran off a retain- ing wall at Parkers Amoco Parking Lot on King Street. The driver said she had an adverse reaction to medication and inadvertently hit the wall doing $300 damage to her car. The wall, which was damaged $600, is owned by Cline Oil Co. the person(s) went through several rooms and exited through the front door. Reported missing were one Browning 12 gauge shotgun, one Weatherby 257 bolt action rifle with power scope, one Weatherby 22 automatic rifle with power scope, and some ladies jewelry. Anyone having information about this or other crimes in the area may call 481-8477 to become eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
