GLADDEN Mrs. Edna Paysour Gladden, 85, of 307 Waco Road, dicd March 30, 1991 at Countryside Rest Home. A native of Gaston County, she was wife of Furman Gladden, who survives, and daughter of the late George and Lizzie Smith Pasour. She was a retired textile employee and member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Gene Gladden of Kings Mountain and Don Gladden of Gastonia; two = brothers, Earl Paysour and John = Paysour, both of Gastonia; two sis- : ters, Lillie Paysour and Ethel = Lazenby, both of Gastonia; seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Hord Street, died March 27, 1991 at home. A native of Kings Mountain, she was daughter of Odell Barrett of Kings Mountain and the late Catherine Barrett and wife of Jim O'Brien, who survives. Former co- owner of L &J Snack Bar, she was employed at Shelby Universal Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are three daughters, Kathy Flowers of Bessemer City, Lisa Panther of Grover and Patty Hames of Gaffney, S.C.; one stepson, Mike O'Brien of Lawndale; stepmother, Frances Lemons Barrett of Kings Mountain; one brother, Wendell E. Barrett of Kings Mountain; and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted March 29, 1991 at 3 p.m. at Allen Memorial Baus Church by Rev. Lamar Hewitt and Rev. JOSEPH McCLAIN Joseph "Joey" McClain, 47, of 20 Hillway Drive, died April 1, 1991 at home. He was employed by Anvil Knitwear and was a member of Galilee United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Paulina H. and Clifton Love of Kings Mountain; four sisters, Gertrude H. Burris of Kings Mountain, Barbara McClain and Jeanette Haynes of Grover and Virginia McClain of Gastonia; and five brothers, David and Carl Hutchens of Kings Mountain, John R. Hutchens of Gastonia, Charles McClain of Las Vegas, Nevada and John McClain of Monroc. The funcral will be conducted by the Rev. Dewey Smith at 4 p.m. April 4, 1991 at Galilce United Mcthodist Church and burial will be in Adams Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the church. DEREK MORROW Derek Loy Morrow, 14, of 709 Groves St., died April 2, 1991. A native of Kings Mountain, he was the son of Carl Morrow and Brenda Williams, both of Kings Mountain, and a student at Kings Mountain High School. He was a member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his par- ents, are one brother, Tripp Morrow; and his grandparents, Mrs. Minnie Morrow and M. L. and Ethel Williams, all of Kings Mountain.
