Mrs. Howell, widow of Edgar Howell, died Saturday In Beam’s Rest Home In CherryvUle. She was a native of Cleveland County, daughter of the late John B. and Barbara Sarah Aim Byrd Sellers. Also surviving are a brother, Marshall H. Sellers of Charlotte, and a Hater, Mrs. Florcne Hoyle o< Shelby. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church. ROBERTLEE WELLS GROVER — Funeral services for Robert Lee (Bob) Wells, B8, of Rt. 1, who died Tuesday morning at his home after several years illness, will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. from New Buffalo Baptist Church of which he was a member. JEAN HAWKINS Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Hawkins, 81, of the Compact Community, were conducted Wed nesday at 4 p.m. from Mount Olive Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. Willie Maddox officiated and Interment was In Mount Olive Memorial Paih. Mrs. Hawkins died Saturday afternoon. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Adams and Mrs. Corrlne Adams, both of Kings Mountain, and two half- sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Ross of Bessemer City and Mrs. Geraldine Byers of Gastonia. J.W.
