SANDERS Funeral services (or William Floyd Sanders, 66, of 2010 Mldplnes, who died Saturday morning, were conducted Monday af ternoon at 3:30 p.m. from Midview Baptist Church by Rev, Fred Wells and Rev. Steve Grlgg, In terment following In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Sanders was a retired textile employe. He was son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Arthur Sanders. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dlcle Alexander Sanders; one son, William Floyd Sanders, Jr. of Kings Mountain; one ' daughter, Miss Louise Sanders of Oreenvllle, S.C.; two stepsons, Billy Holmes of Gsistonla and Bverette Ray Mathis of Kings Mountain: two stepdaughters. Miss Pauline Mathis and Miss Netia Mathis, both of Kings Mountain: three sisters, Mrs. Ola Royster, Mrs. Vera Black and Mrs. Bertha CTllnton, all of Kings Mountain; and five grandchildren. CHAMPION Funeral services for James Robert CThamplon, 63, of 917 Henry St., who died Thursday at 12:60 p.m. In Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church by Rev. Tom Patterson and Rev. T.A. Cline, In terment following In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Champion was a native of Harnett County, an employe of Superior Stone Co. and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bunyan Chsunplon. He was a member and deacon of Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lindsey Carroll Champion; two sons, James Robert CThamplon, Jr. of Monroe and Donald Wayne Champion of Kings Mountain; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Harrison and Mrs. Emmett Greene, both of Kings Mountain; one brother. Gene Oiamplon of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Pate of Raleigh, Mrs. Ruby Lowder of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Viola Bobbitt of Lllllngton and seven grandchildren. Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. JOHN H. BUMOARDNER Funeral services for John Henderson Bumgardner, of 402 Maner Rd., will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church of which he was a member and deacon. His pastor. Rev. Clyde Bearden, will officiate at the rites, and interment will be In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Bumgardner suf fered a heart attack Sunday morning while he was preparing to go to church services and succumbed at 12:06 in Kings Mountsdn Hospital. He was In apparently good health. He was employed by Dicey Fabrics of Shelby and was son of the late Thomas Edward and Hattie Jenkins Humgard- ner. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Berdina Wells Bumgardner; one son, John H. Bumgardner, Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. David Hart of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Edward and Wray Bumgardner; one son, John H. Bumgardner, Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. David Hart of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Edward and Wray Bumgardner of Kings Mountain; and one sister, Mrs. Paul Cooper of Elberton, Ga. Deacons of First Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Harris Funeral Home Is In charge of arrange ments. FRED H. CAMP Funeral services for Fred. H. Camp, Sr., 67, of 612 Mauney Ave., who died Thursday at 11:10 a.m. in Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from Cherokee Street Baptist Church by Rev. George Leigh, In terment following In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Camp was a native of Shelby, son of the late 3(r. and Mrs. Mack Camp, and a carrier (or The Charlotte Observer. He was married to the late Hazel Northcutt Camp. Surviving are two sons, Fred H. Camp, Jr. of (Jastonla and Kenneth Ray Camp of Jacksonville, Ark., two daughters, Mrs. Terry Holcomb of Gastonia euid Mrs. Loretta Homer of Bessemer City; four brothers, Robert Camp of Lexington, Ky. and Paul Camp, James Camp, and Ray Camp, all of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bell of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Trudy Dellinger of Asheboro and Mrs. Faye Fortenberry of Baltimore, Md. and nine grand children. WHITE HENRIETTA - Funeral services (or Morgan Leroy White, 70, who died Wednesday night at his home, were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from Temple Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Powell, In terment following in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Mr. White was brother of Rush White of Kings Mountain. Also surviving are his wife; two sons; three daughters; Hve sisters; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Harrelson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. LOCKHART SERVICES Funeral services for Ernest Lockhart, infant son of Mrs. Andrea Wilson of Rt. 4, were conducted Wednesday afternoon from Open Door Mission by Rev. Mrs. S. Meeks. Interment was in the church cemetery. The child died Monday morning at Kings Moun tain Hospital. J.W. Gill and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
