The wae held nter and were District <Iay and ^ ^ Little Theatre Auditions Set Kings Mountain UtUe Theatre will be holding auditions tor Its upcoming production, "Blithe Spirit”, Jan. 8^ at the UtUe Iheatre at Park Grace School at 7 p.m. Available are parts for live women and two men. "Blithe Spirit”, the wonderful farce comedy written by the renowned Noel Coward, wlU be directed by Paul Holman, who will be working with the Kings MounUln UtUe Theatre for the first time. Mr. Holman has been active In the Gastonia UtUe 'Dieatre as both an actor knd a director. Production dates wUl be Feb. 14, IB, le and 17, 1980. Ray Holmes, president of KMLT, urges all Interested persons to attend the auditions. In addition to actors, persons Interested In working on scenery, costumes, lights, and make-up will be needed. Banks Submit Water Bids North Carolina National Bank and Independence National Bank submitted five bids for aty of Kings Mountain $160,000 water bond anticipation notes and were winning managers, the bonds and notes sold by the State IVeasurer’s Department at 11 a.m. Dec. 18. The net Interest cost la 6.09 percent and maturity date Is 4.88 years, said State Treasurer Harlan B. Boyles. Christmas Play, Bake Sale Set A Christmas play and bake and crafts sale will be sponsored by dyslexia students of Crest- wood Hall of Dallas Thursday (tonight) at Dallas Agricultural BiiUdlng. The bake sale gets underway at 6 p.m. and the play Is slated to begin at 7 p.m. All funds are earmarked for the current drive to keep the school operational. Barnes Auditorium The program of traditional, popular and seasonal music Is free and open to the community. Presenting the concert will be members of the Kings Mountain Senior High Blazer Band, members of the Kings Mountain Junior High Ninth Grade Band and members of the Kings Mountain Junior High Eighth Grade Band. Donald J. Deal, Christopher H. Cole and Barry Green are directing the program. Thirty-five students are enrolled at Crestwood and the student body Includes these area students: Neal Anthony, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Anthony; Leigh Anne Phllbeck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Phllbeck; Wade Cash, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Cash; Luke Owens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Owens; and Robbie Putnam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Putnam.
