will respond in 30 days to 14
questions raised in recent audit
of the city’s community
development program. What
action HUD expects on
correcting the findings were
detailed in a four-page letter
from Greensbor’s HUD office
and addressed to Mayor Moss.
The question is not of misuse of
money but of eligibility of
project money.
Death ended an almost life
long battle with cancer for six-
year-old Tracy Bridges. One
thing the youngster wanted to do
was to see Santa Claus In the KM
Christmas parade. The
youngster’s wish was granted.
He sat wrapped up in a
wheelchair to view the parade.
All but six of 19 KM District
students suspended because of
incomplete imnriunization
records were back In school.
All five city elementary
schools and KM Junior Senior
High won accreditation by the
Southern Association of Colleges
and Schools. KM Junior High
has completed work for ac
creditation.
Rev. Thomas Lesley was
walking In Kings Mountain this
week to feed the hungry.
Ladd Bridges, 10, was a proud
youngster this holiday season.
He became a U.S. Citizen. The
native of Korea was adopted by
Bonnie and Dennis Bridges Mar.
