Singing will be from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and admission is free to everyone. Annio. New Pastor At Trinity Rev. Ozie Montgomery has assumed pastoral duties at Trini ty Church of the Living God on Cherryville Highway. He and his wife, Annie, and their two daughters, Renita, 14, and Sandra, 16, are residing at Battle Forest Apartments. Rev. Montgomery comes to Kings Mountain from Mt. Airy, where he maintained a residence for 15 years while doing evangelistic and mission work. He returned from the mission field in Haiti in April. This is Rev. Montgomery’s first full-time pastorate. He was assigned the duties for two years by the Trinity Church Con ference in Winston-Salem. “1 have a real good congrega tion to work with and hope the people will support us like they have their pastors in the past,” he said. A Virginia native. Rev. Mon tgomery has done evangelistic work in both Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia. “We invite everyone in the community to come and worship with us,” he said. Services are held on Sundays at 10 a.m. (Church School), 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and mid-week services are held each Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Mrs. Goforth Is Installed Mrs. H-A. Goforth has been installed as the new Regent of Colonel Frederick Hambright Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She succeeds Mrs. Tolly Shuford. Other officers are Mrs. Eugene Roberts, first vice regent, Mrs. Ida W. Linder, se cond vice-regent, Mrs. W.T. Weir, chaplain, Mrs. C.L. Lind say, secretary, Mrs. B.O. Weaver, assistant secretary, Mrs. L.E. Hinnant, corresponding secretary, Mrs. C.D. Blanton, treasurer, Mrs. J.E. Herndon, registrar, Mrs. W.L. McMackin, historian, and Mrs. H.D.
