Thomas Luther Keep, 83, of Rt. who died Wednes^y in Kings Mountain Hospital, were con ducted Saturday afternoon from Real Estate Course Slated The continuing education department of Cleveland • Technical College will sponsor its summer Real Estate courses beginning with registration on Wed. July 9 and ending Sept. 23. This 72-hour class will meet from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Room 2222 on the Tech campus on Wednesday and Thursday July 9 and July 10, and then shift to Monday and Tuesday evenings the following week at the same . hours. Ralph Gilbert, local realtor, will instruct. In addition to the $3 registration fee, books are re quired, and are available in the school bookstore. Dan T. Camp, Tech’s Dean of Continuing Education, states “this will be the last 72-hour real estate course to be offered at the school since the Real Estate II Licensing Board is raising re- ^ quirements to 90 hours effective January 1,1981. This will make it necessary for those registering in the Fall Quarter to have the 90 hours since they will be tak ing the broker exam after the first of the year based upon suc cessful completion of Tech’s real estate course.” Interested students should l^ome for registration at 6:30 p.m. on July 9 in order that the first class may begin by 7 p.m. Last Chance To Register The Parks and Recreation ^Department will sponsor the Se cond Annual Junior Tennis Tournament July 11 thru the 19th. A native of Rutherford Coun ty, Mrs. Bradley was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Freeman and widow of Thomas Bradley, Sr. Surviving are one son, Thomas Bradley of Charlotte, two daughters, Mrs. Trudence Hughes and Miss Eleanore Bradley, both of the home; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. EAKER Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Bell Freeman Eaker, 79, of Hampton, Va., formerly of Kings Mountain, Forest City and Cherryville, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Masters Funeral Home by Rev. Junior Morris, interment following in Mount Zion Church cemetery. Mrs. Eaker died Sunday after noon. She was the daughter of Will and Mae Tucker Freeman and widow of Foster Freeman and Stowe Eaker. Surviving are six sons, Johnny Freeman of Crouse, Joe Freeman of Kings Mountain, Earl and David Freeman of Hampton, Va., Sidney Freeman of Charlotte and Bobby Freeman of Greenville, S.C.; six half-sisters, Mrs. Octavis Bryant of Mooresboro, Mrs. Nezzie Hamrick of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Louise Wallace of Kings Moun tain, Mrs. Grace Mode and Mrs. Rachel Hamrick of Shelby, Mrs. Edith Webb of Polkville; 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
