Sipe, 73, of 203 Ridge St., who died Tuesday in Kings Mountain Hospital, were con ducted Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. from East Side Baptist Church of which he was a member. Rev. Buddy Williams of ficiated at the rites, and inter ment was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Sipe was son of the late John H. and Dora Reynolds Sipe and was married to the late Ola Mae Dalton Sipe. He was a retired self-employed exter minator. Surviving are four sons, David Sipe of Dallas, T.H., Gene and Garland Sipe of Kings Moun tain; four daughters, Mrs. Thur man (Doris) Peterson of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Helen Roark of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Albert (Judy) Warlick of Bessemer City and Mrs. Phillip (Patsy) Carpenter of Kings Mountain; one brother, Arthur Sipe of Shelby; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Falls Sr. of Kings Mountain and Mrs. B.F. McCarter of Clover, S.C. and 16 grandchildren. Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. MRS. EUNICE WARUCK Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Randall Warlick, 83, of Route 3, who died Sunday mor ning in the Kings Mountain Hospital, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Shady Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Dan Silver, Rev. Bob Baynard and Rev. Howard Kiser, inter ment following in the church cemetery. Mrs. Warlick was widow of Doras H. Warlick and daughter of the late Johnonas and Willie Carpenter Randall. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, John Eural Warlick of Shelby; Frank Warlick of Kings Mountain; five daughters, Mrs. Kent Harbour of Cameron, Mrs. Joyce Spinks and Mrs. Raymond Todd of Charlotte, Mrs. Nelson Bridges of Bessemmer City and Mrs. Melba Hendrick of Kings Moun tain; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Dellinger, Mrs. Noveda Clippard of Cherryville and Mrs. W. F. Wilson of York, S. C.; 21 grand children and 10 great grandchildren. Carpenter”s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. HERMON HUBERT YAWN Graveside for Hermon Herbert Yawn, 71, of 308 Aiken Avenue in Rock Hill, S.C., were conducted Friday from Moun tain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. Memorial services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Oakland Baptist Church. Mr. Yawn died Wednesday in a Charlotte hospital. He was born in Hazelhurst, Ga. and lived in Kings Mountain for several years. He was married to the former Miss Martha Sue Stowe of Kings Mountain and was a retired employee of Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co. He was a member of Oakland Bap tist Church. Surviving are his wife, three sons,Hermon Yawn Jr. of Rock Hill, S.C., Charles C. Yawn of Jacksonville, Fla. and Joe F. Yawn of Lexington, S.C., one Rehearsals To Begin The Cleveland County Choral Society is in its second con secutive year and will begin rehearsals tonight for a Christmas Concert. All in terested persons are invited to participate; a $5.(X) charge to help defray music expenses must be paid on the first night of rehearsal. There are no audition requirements. The Choral Society, under the auspices of Genesis I; and spon sored under cooperation of the Community Schools Program, will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the AV Room of the M^colm E. Brown Auditorium. A holiday concert will be performed by the Choral Society on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14 at Brown Auditorium. Election of officers will be held on September 2. ROBERT WHITWORTH Funeral services for Robert John Whitworth, 84, who died Monday at Cleveland Memorial Hospital in Shelby weree con ducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from Vestibule AME Zion Church by Rev. J. D. Adams, interment following in the church cemetert. Mr. Whitworth was a native of Hickory Grove, S. C. and a retired employee of Spangler’s Concrete Company. He was a member of Vestibule Church. Surviving are two sons; Ray Thomas Whitworth of Washington, D. C. and James Billy Whitworth of Georgia; five daughters, Mrs. Lallage Blair of Shelby; Mrs. Margie Lee Jenkins of Hickory, Mrs. Minnie Alice Hewitt of Washington, D. C.; Mrs,Betty Davis and Mrs. Geraldine Accor, both of Jersey City, N. J.; two brothers, J. B. Whitworth of Shelby and Mat thew Whitworth of Winston- Salem; three sisters; Mrs. Reola Littlejohn of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Maice Fuller of Belwood and Mrs. Ezella Sweezy of Shelby; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
