The Citizens of the Town of Kings Mountain, N. C., welcome
you to our City, and to the Cele bration which commemorates
the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Battle of
Kings Mountain. This was one of the most decisive battles of
the American Revolution and was the turning point of the
war. This Battleground is, therefore, the Cradle of American
