10 years of collegiate coaching
and has worked under some of
the top football men In the
coimtry.
He came to ASU from Wake
Forest University, where he
was the offensive coordinator
of a Deacon team which
finished 8-8 and won a trip to
the 1078 Tangerine Bowl.
Prior to his stint at Wake
Forest, where he also served
as recruiting coordinator,
Working coached at the
University of North Carolina,
Army, Tennessee and West
Virginia.
During hla 10 years as an
assistant coach, five teams of
which he was a part went to
post-season bowl games.
Working coached under BUI
Dooley at Carolina, BIU Battle
at Tennessee, Frank Clgnettl
and Bobby Bowden at West
Virginia and John Mackovlch
at Wake Forest.
