LOVELACE Funeral services for Melvin Clyde Lovelace, 76, of Route 3, who died Monday in Kings Mountain Hospital after several months illness, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.in. from Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Goudelock will be assisted by Rev. Rus.sell Hinton and Rev. Mitchell Pruitt in of- Hciating at the rites, and inter ment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Lovelace was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Joseph and Ellen Ledford Lovelace. He had retired after many years with the N.C. Highway Department. He was a member and deacon and former Sunday School teacher at Oak Grove Baptist Church where the family receiv ed friends Tuesday night. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nannie Lee Ross Lovelace; two sons, Willard H. and Charles Lovelace, both of Kings Moun tain, one daughter, Mrs. Curtis (Novella) Ware of Kings Moun tain; three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Ross, Mrs. Fred Greene and Mrs. Rachel Weaver, all of Kings Mountain; 17 grand children and 24 great grandchildren. Masters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. MRS. FLORENCE N. CLINE Funeral services for Mrs. Florence N. Cline, 86, of 714 Linwood Rd., who died Friday morning at 11:40 a.m. in Kings Mountain Hospital after illness of several years, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. from Grace United Methodist Church of which she was a member. Rev. George Sherrill, assisted by Rev. Leonard Huffstetler of ficiated at the rites, and inter ment was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Cline was a native of Cleveland County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dock Gantt. She was widow of William Preston Jenkins and Augustus Cline. Surviving are two sons, Clyde Jenkins and Luco Jenkins, both of Kings Mountain, and three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Elmore of Gastonia, Mrs. Helen Stephen son of Charlotte and Mrs. Sallie Lynn of Kings Mountain and one grandchild. Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. FRANZ MONTIOY Burlington—Franz Montjoy, 74, died Nov. 16th in Burlington and funeral rites were held from Rich and Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Montjoy, a former resident of Kings Mountain, died after several weeks illness. Surviving are his wife, Willia; their son. Bob Montjoy; and three grandchildren. Also surviv ing are four sisters, Mrs. Louise Painter of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Helen Bridgeman of Red Spr ings, Mrs. Kathleen Hall of Burl ington, Mrs. Dorothy Moss of Jackson, S.C. and two brothers, Cecil Montjoy of Raleigh and James Montjoy of Charlotte. n ininffciii $500 WINNER-IamM R.
