Were To 24®® From $299 Roderick Boyce as student con ductor, a piano rendition by Brenda Martin of “What Child Is This,” a Christmas poem by Eleanor Farjeon and Joel Sum- mitt, a solo, “I’d Like To Go To Bethlehem,” by Donna Jenkins, a piano rendition of “Jingle Bells” by Sandra Petty and a duet, “Fm Getting Nutting For Christmas” by Susan Moore and Jackie Williams. Culminating the program was the combined Sbtth and Seventh Grade Chorus with “Joy to the World,” traditional “Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” ' I DENNIS TROUT Trout Graduates N.C. State Dennis Trout, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Trout of 411 Hawthorne Rd., has recently graduated from North Carolina State University at Raleigh with a degree in civil engineering. Trout is a graduate of Kings Mountain Senior High School and will be associated with Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line _ Corporation, Houston, Texas. i ASHLEY PLONK Ashley Plonk Earns Degree Miss Elizabeth Ashley Plonk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Plonk, graduated from East Carolina University School of Nursing with B.S. in Nursing Dec. 19th. Miss Plonk’s parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Boone, at tended the Pinning ceremonies and the reception afterwards. Miss Plonk was graduated Magna Cum Laude with scholastic average of 3.6 to 3.9 throughout her college career. Invitation Issued Mr. and Mrs. John Oates Plonk have issued invitations to friends and relatives to attend the wedding of their daughter, Elizabeth Ashley, and Robert David Strachan. The ceremony will take place Sat., Jan. 17th, at 8 p.m. in Cen tral United Methodist Church. The bride-to-be’s parents will entertain after the ceremony at a wedding reception at their home at 118 North Piedmont Ave. UONS PROJECT Kings Mountain Lions Club bers delivered Christmas food baskets to the blind as a holiday project Tuesday night.
