Grassroots Deadline Extended The United Arts & Science Council of Gaston County, local distributing agent for the Grassroots Arts Program, has announced an extension in the deadline for Grassroots ap plicants from October 30 to December I. The extension comes with notification from the State Arts Council of the in crease in the county’s allocation from $849.00 to $6,826.00. The increase was approved by the N.C. General Assembly on Oc tober 10. Any non-profit poup with an arts related project may apply for funds to be used ftom December I, 1981 to June 30, 1982.
