Director, Minnesota School of the Air, Department of Radio and Television, University of Minneso ta, will be special guest consultant in North Carolina College’s Audio- Visual Workshop July 1-3. Mrs. Girling holds BA. BS. and MS degrees from the University of Minnesota with concentration in English, speech and education. Prior to becoming' director of the university’s School of the Air in 1946, she served as administrative fellow of radio in 1940 and program director in 1941. She is widely known as a writer and performer in chil dren’s programs Her current responsibility includes planning upwards of 850 children's programs per year.
