Smith High School, and 1958 from the Fayetteville State Teachers College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, She holds membership in the First Baptist Church where she has served as an usher and as a member of the Junior Choir. Likewise, she is a member of the Young Women's Christian As sociation, the North Carolina Teachers Aissociation, and the National Education Association. She is currently teaching at the Warren County Training School at Wise. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Eastland of Shel field, Alabama. A high school graduate, he is currently serving in the United States Army and is stationed in Germany. The second feature includes the 3 day appearance of Mrs. Betty T. Girling, director of the Univer sity of Minnesota School of the Air, Judy 1-3. A nationally know authority on radio and television writing for children, Mrs. Girling will discuss the preparation of radio and tele vision programs and their use in the classroom. She is scheduled to give a pub lic lecture on radio and television appreciation during her three day stay.
