During the administration of Mr. Johnson at Emmanuel Baptist in Thomasville. the church was re dedicated and a renovation pro gram valued at $25,000 was com pleted. The spiritual life of the church has been encouraged and the membership increased. Rev. Johnson has served as a boys’ work leader in the YMCA at Roanoke, and Lynchburg, Va., where he became associated with Boys’ Work, completing a course in Leadership Training. He is an executive of the Boy Scouts of A merica and for two years worked ■with the March of Dimes as a Campaign Director. He has also served pastorates in Virginia. REV.
