The material Is taken from
two of her concerts, given in

the work.
TRULY UNFORGETTABLE
Beyond all this, and more im
mediately, is the high entertain
ment value of the disc.
Opening the set, Biiiie rings the
immortal evergreen, “Body and
Soul:” streams off to a rendition
of ‘‘Strange Fruit,” which alleged
ly touches on her stormy back
ground; moves on with "Trav’lm
Light,” and then taperc off with
the two haunting melodics for
which she was long famous, "The
Man 1 Love” and “All of Me," all
on Side 1.
She is heady and nostalgic on
Side 2, with “You Go to my Head,”
“Solitude" arid "Moonglovv,” end
ing with the meaningful appeal.
"Please Don't Talk About Me When
I’m Gone.”
Side 3, white highlighted by the
sentimental tune, "What A Little
Moonlgiht Can Do.” is a variation
of Sides 1 and 2, but just as mean
ingful.

some time ago.
In general, the Socal press
took Miss White’s statement
lightly, and one columnist in

have been “spoofing” her a
bout Sammy, because of the
belated statement. But this
writer felt that readers might,
want to hear Loray’s views on
the impending marriage, and
released a condensed article
on the subject.
As it turned out. Loray was

as reported, had sent word to
