Another time about three years ago McDowell lost a fing er in a power mower while he was rutting grass. Despite these unhappy ex perience. McDowell said he has enjoyed working for the city. During those two years he work ed some with Faust, who was a foreman with the same contractor. In tiie fall of 1924. Faust joined the city's public works department. During the next two months Faust hired some of the men who had worked with him for the con tractor. McDowell is only one of those men still with the city.
