YATSONIWI ©D® £J&V*»mSB*« Subtle Form Os Racial Roadblock is Reported LOS ANGELES (ANP>—Actors and other members of the cast of “Raisin In The Sun," the successful Broadway play on Negro life au thored by Lorraine Hansberry, ran into a subtle form of racial road block in their attempt to acquire | housing accommodations here prior j to the opening of the play at the Huntington-Hartford Theatre, De cember 20, it was reported. According to the Los Angeles Eagle, weekly newspaper, a repre sentative for the group of actors was experiencing suspicious if not downright bias in trying to arrange reservation for the groups. The agent arrived here ahead of the theatre group. The subtle bias, the Eagle said, is the first such experi ence for the troupe since it hit the road. It is based on the life of Mary McLeod j Bethune, a child of slavery who I became one of America’s most dis- ; linguished citizens.
