Scientist Lectures On Nuclear Energy In NC DURHAM A visiting expert from the American Chemical So ciety delivered three lectures on nuclear energy and related subjects at North Carolina College this week. Dr. H. HL Wileox, chairman of the department of chemistry at Birmingham Southern College, gave formal lectures and held dis cussions with students and towns people in an effort "to increase the science interest among students and enhance the appreciation of laymen.” Subjects for the formal presen tations were: “Nuclear Energy and You”; “Clinical Chemistry, a New Frontier for Chemists"; and "The Importance of Chemistry in Pre medical and Pre-dental Programs.” He was chosen for his NCC ap peorance by the Committee on !
