RitsbEl ( HENDERSON - Today is a beautiful day in Henderson, the sun is shining brightly and the temperature is gradually ris ing and causing the mam. seeds that have oeen in the earn to come forth looking towards the Supreme One who heads all of nature and commands it to come forth. At a time like this, all mankind can be thankful for the God-given privileges that He has given us. I feel grateful to the many friends who have call ed ana eome to see me follow - ing an accident, which took place last Wednesday, April 23. I am grateful to the capable and efficient police department of Oxford, which immediate! made an impartial investigation of the incident. Last ana not least, the hospitals, Gran -tile County Memorial and Maria Parham of Henderson, both did a unique job. One discovered the seriousness of the frae tured finger and the other did the surgery. Again, ma; 1 sa to the doctors and nurses, thanks! It could have been worse, I attended services Sun da morning at the AME Church of Townville In the extreme northern part of Vance Count . The pastor was not present and the services w’ere conducted b> an assistant minister, Rev. Morris Taylor, Mr. Taylor.
