The group is a racially and economically mixed group of youngsters participating in this year's Delta Teen-Lift, said Mrs. Frankie M. Freeman, na tional president of the public service sorority. The students will take one of three tonrs based on their vo cational Interest--arts and hu manities, government and in ternational affairs, business and industry. A new feature of the 1969 Teen-Lift is *hree days of sen sitivity training, conducted by Dr. Jeanne L. Noble of New York University. The object of the training is to develop increased self-awareness, and receptivity to ideasandfeelings of others. “This training experience Is part icularly important this year because our group is racially mixed’ Mrs. Freeman said. "It is a fact that little op portunity is provided people of different backgrounds to get to know each other we be lieve that this experience can have significant results,’’ Mrs. Freeman said “not only for the young people, but for the future.” Parents will be Invited to join their children for a half day of training. BEATS RIOT RAP NEWARK, N. J.-A jury of six men' and six women last week acquitted Black playwright Leroi Jones of charges of il legally possessing guns during the 1967 Newark racial riot in a re-trial last week, The Essex County court freed Jones and co-defendants, actor Barry Wynn, 24, and anti-poverty ac countant Charles McCray, 3 4, as it overturned a lower court conviction of the three. 9
