Bring a chair or a blanket and spend the day with family and friends. Events include: • MUSIC by disc jockey Kyle Harrell 2:00-7:00 p.m. • FOOD including hot dogs, homemade baked goods, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones & soft drinks • GAMES-Dunking booth. Moon Walk, High Striker Machine • HORSE SHOE PITCHING CONTEST at 3:00 p.m. . CHILDREN'S PARADE at 4:00 p.m. with cash prizes to the best decorated Bicycle, Tricycle or Wagon • BEARD-GROWING CONTEST • MUSIC- the Potecasi Philhar monic Orchestra will perform from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. • FIREWORKS at 9:15 p.m. orches trated to music. Come enjoy a day of fun as we celebrate Ahoskie's 100th birthday. Be sure to visit the Ahoskie Centennial Museum on Main Street and watch for the upcoming Centennial Ball to be held in December.
