questions that will be answered
from “A Check-List of What
Every Woman Needs to Know”
Wednesday, March 28, at Rain-
tree Country Club at 11:30 a.m.
This important topic, on
Hadassah’s Education Day,
will be discussed by Marguerite
'Fracy, insurance agent Tom
, Woolen and trust officer Mack
Upchurch. Co-chairing the
event are Anita Grey, Jeri Gertz-
man and Judy Sutker; they may
be contacted for more informa
tion.
Hadassah Bible Study, led by
Gladys Lavitan, will be held on
March 13 and 27 at 10:30 a.m. at
the home of Judy Perlin, 311
Glen Oaks Rd.
The 1979 Hadassah Directory
will be available in March from
the JCC, the Temples, or from
distribution editor Arlene Karp.
This is the Charlotte Chapter’s
main fundraising project.

Junior Counselor and
Counselor in Training positions
for our Day Camp 1979.
Students who will be Freshmen
or above in College as of
September 1979 are eligible for
. Counselor positions. Students
entering- 12th grade in
September 1979 are eligible for
Junior Counselor positions.
Students entering 11th grade in
September 1979 are eligible for
CIT positions. Positions are also
open for nursery s^chool or other
teachers for our pre-school camp
program.
Orientation week is June 18 -
June 22 and camp is from June
25th through August 3rd. Please
contact Sara Schreibman (366-
0357) at the JCC if you are in
terested in applying for a posi
tion.

B’nai BVith Women
On Wednesday, March 7,1979
at 11:45 a.m. the Charlotte
Chapter of B’nai B’rith Women
will hold its annual piaid up
membership luncheon.
Highlight of the program will be
a fashion show “The Rights of
Spring” by Coplon’s. Cost is
$1.50 for paid up members and
$3.50 for guests. Reservations
are necessary.

Hebrew Cemetery
Association
Wherever Jews have settled,
one of the first things they did
was to purchase some small plot
of land as a sacred resting place
for their dead. Over 100 years
ago, the few Jewish families
who were then living in Char
lotte purchased about 20 acres of
land which has since been used
as the Jewish Cemetery of this
area. 'ITie,Cemetery is available
to all of us, regardless of our sta
tion in life. It dramatizes the
