Option II: Summer Rainbow — Performing Arts Summer Rainbow is a rainbow of arts activities stressing the interrelatedness of art forms, including drama, dance, poetry, painting and music. The first two weeks of each session will be devoted to individual activities and exercises in the five areas, with the third week serving as a time to share accomplishments with each other and with some other specialists in the arts. Jackie Current, the dancer-in-residence with the Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools and teacher at the Children’s Theatre, has developed this exciting new program in the arts and will be teach ing this new concept. Both ^oups will combine in the afternoon to participate with a camp crafts expert. This specialist will teach the campers how to pitch tents, build fires and live and enjoy the outdoors.
