On May 1 and in the two weeks following, volunteers from
Temple Beth El and Temple Israel recruited almost 40 new donors
to the Project for a total of $40,000. Mark Perlin and Allan Gordon
captained the Beth El team of Mark Katz, Furman O. Clark, Bob
Zipp and Irving Greenberg. Billy Ashendorf headed the Temple
Israel volunteers, Mike Van Glish, Larry Widis, Steve Fishman, Ed
Bograd and Hugo Rosenberger.
Those prospects who could not be reached by phone were mail
ed their pledge cards and many responses have already been
received.
Harry Swimmer, CapitaJ Campaign Chairman and Sara Schreibman, Foundation Ad
ministrative Assistant, reviewing in formation showring over $1,360,000 in pledge payments.
