Page 12-THE NEWS-March. 1984 Scenes From The JCC Winter Carnival Children and adults enjoyed an exciting after noon, Jan. 22, of balloons, popcorn, mime and dance at the program carnival held at McClin- tock Junior High. Members of the program com mittee along with class instructors set up booths featuring information and samples. Chuck E. Chesse made a flashy appearance and the Harle quin Mime Theatre performed on stage. The children thought the computers were the biggest hit of the day. jeuiSH comun CmIt Israeli dance instructor, Geri Kravitz (1) leads a dance. V .1 Our newest star: The JCC Banner, Dan and Dave Bernstein serve free refreshments. ^ £▲* The Mime receives all the children's attention. fi Nancy Gable paints Amy Widis* face. Stu Schwartz, cultural arts commit' teeman, talks with artist Sue Alvarez as she finishes a quilt square. Two young fellows add to the graffiti art that lined the wall.
