TORAH STUDY
For the first time in recent years, Temple Beth
El has introduced Saturday morning Torah

Sessions will be led by Rabbi Harold I.

It is 2inticipated that the services will attract
those interested in Torah study, with a special

Myth and Reality
On Tuesday, January 15 at

guest speaker, Elaine Chemot-

Chanukah Baskets:
Overwhelming Success
The Ha Lallah-sponsored
“Chanukah Baskets” for
families with special needs was
an overwhelming success. The
baskets, which Stephanie
Seitlin and her committee
prepared, were festive and fill
ed with Chanukah candles,
menorahs, gifts find ingre
dients to make traditional
Chanukah foods. The spirit of
this project will be continued
into the Passover season;
when we will be collecting
foodstuffs to distribute for
this holiday. Contributions
can be made to Sara Schreib-
man (542-6594).
Just for Kids

Ha Lailah was available to
open the store to two
classrooms from the Charlotte
Headstart Program. The store
opened at a special hour to
allow the children to shop for
family and friends. Their
“shopping spree” was follow

everyone who p£u*ticipated en
joyed the morning of fun.

Women. Ha Lailah will be
