Personal Giving On September 10 at 7:30 pm., Florence Widis and her conmiittee have planned a very entertaining night for all. Remember “Personal Giving” is Ha Lailah’s only direct solicitation for funds which are used towards our BBW allocation and to fund many projects. Holiday Baskets Ha Lailah will be preparing their many New Year holiday baskets for the needy in our Jewish conmiunity the week of September 9th. Any donations of food, holi day items or money will be greatly appreciated by the chapter. Donations may be made by contacting Trish Golembe, 366-7611 or Adele Bedrick, 365-4087. Membership Ha Lailah’s annual “meet ’n eat” was held on August 20 at the Armstrong house. New members were introduced and shared with us their ideas for the future of our chapter. We are looking forward to a very exciting year. Royal Treatment Ha Lailah once again held a small cocktail party for two Jewish families in the throws of moving from New York to Charlotte with the Royal In surance Company. It is our feeling that this “one on one contact” with a cross section of Charlotte’s Jewish com munity will make all the families feel welcome and will answer some of their many questions.
