uted $250 or more to Hadas
sah who, in turn, sends all
funds directly to Israel for its
Medical Facility, Education
Services, Youth Aliy ah and
Jewish National Fund.
The Annual Donor Lunch
eon will be held on Thursday,
Nov. 20, in the Mecklenburg
Ballroom of the Adams Mark
Hotel. There will be a showing
of elegant fashions from Mon-

formed recently which will
meet on Wednesday evenings

B’nai B’rith Men To Hold Leadership Conference

Operation Snowflake

Leadership Weekend
The N. C. B’nai B’rith Lead
ership Conference will be held
Dec. 6-7 in Southern Pines at
the Quality Inn. This confer
ence brings together members
throughout the state to spend
a weekend learning more
about B’nai B’rith and devel
oping leadership skills.
Presenters include; District
President Bernard Friedman,
District Executive Vice Presi
dent Neil Rosen, District
GRAN Chairman Steve Leve-
tan, and State President
Michael Schaul. The cost for
the weekend is $30 which in
cludes your room (double oc
cupancy), dinner Saturday
night, snacks, breakfast and

BBYO Winter Cultural Convention
From Nov. 14 through Nov. 16, the JCC, Chai Chaverim
BBG and Mickey Barach Aberman AZA will host the NC
BBYO Winter Cultural Convention. For this event
BBYOers from all over the state will converge upon the
“J” for a weekend filled with Judaica, music, spirit, friend
ship and healthy competition. It should be a very exciting
few days and the“J” is happy to host this convention.
Judges are being sought for the various competitions
between the BBYO chapters. If you would be interested
in serving in this capacity, please call Cary at 366-5007.
AZA Collecting Clothing
The Aleph Zadik Aleph of Charlotte (AZA) will be conducting a clothing drive to help
out the Crisis Assistance Ministry.
Please gather all clothes you may be able to donate for pickup the weekend of Nov. 9-11.
