Levine gymnasium was trans formed to look like one huge outdoor French cafe, festive and colorful. Everyone en joyed the music, food and excitement. Hats off to all who worked on the event! Cochairing the Gala were Paula Musler and Evelyn Berger, who also acted as mistress of cerem onies. Ticket sellers were Miles Levine, chair; Mike Van Glish, Ellen Goldstein, Eric Sklut, Arlene Karp, Phil Joffe, Bob Abel and Sol Levine. Chairs for the deco rating committee were Patti Scher, Madeline Joffe and Peggy Gartner. Also on the committee were Arlene Karp, Debby Rosenberger and Jill Newman, Thanks go to the caterers, Susan and Hy Bruck, and to the many contributors: Mann Travel (Maxine and Gary Silverstein), Charlotte Aj^ar^ The FrfesH M£^be’t,.\lft^^-Teeter, Silk Plant Florists,^Voel Cohen, Gary Foss of American Air lines, Danny Levine, Harry Swimmer, LaBibliotheque, Zarrelli’s, Cajun Queen, Royal Palace, C&C Caterers, The Fishmarket, The Olive Garden, Our Gang Inn, Hot el Charlotte, House of Hu nan, Restaurant Tokyo, Roy White Florist. The first prize, the trip to Paris, was won by Patty and Bill Gorelick. The second prize, an under-the-counter TV/radio, was won by Mur ray Feit, a visitor to Char lotte from New York City.
