Page 6-THE NEWS-Ffebmwy 1990 Charlotte Jewiish Federation Annual Super Sunday Held By Morris Spil On Sunday, January 14 at Shalom Park, over 100 volun teers spent the day making well over 1,000 phone calls as part of Super Sunday. This marks the culmination of the 1990 Char lotte Jewish Federation Cam paign fund raising to help local, national and worldwide Jewish needs. Members of the community who had never contributed are congratulated for “answering the call” to help fellow Jews. Many others increased their pledge from the previous year which is greatly appreciated. Without the generosity of these people, Super Sunday would not be a success. The Super Sunday planning committee is commended for all their efforts. These people have been working diligently for months preparing to make the best ever Super Sunday: Errol Cohen, Jodi Cohen, Mike Kovner, Henry Rabinovich, Norman Shapiro, Marcia Stern, Marc Titlebaum and Kaye Yaffe. Wendy Rosen, who has chaired many Super Sundays, deserves a special thank you for lending her expertise to the committee. The committee ap preciates the hard work and enthusiasm of Lisa Platock, who as staff associate of the Charlotte Jewish Federation, left no stone unturned in preparing for Super Sunday.
