Winter Cultural Convention. Still time to join BBYO!

“UP ALL NIGHT” (9th - 12th Graders)
An all night event experiencing Charlotte’s other side, while
most people sleep, we will be “up all night” learning about
the people on the night shift. Wake up to the world of making
doughnuts, nightly t.v. news and bowling.

Teen Connection Volunteer Needed
Teen Connection is a Jewish Youth group for 7th-8th graders.
We need a volunteer to help plan and attend social programs
held once a month. If you like to be with kids and have a great
time, this is the volunteer position for you. It is a great way
to get active in the Jewish community. For more information

BBYO News
BBYO has been very busy
over the past several months
getting the year into full swing.
At the end of the summer AZA
and BBG had a combined intake
pool party to recruit new
members. Both chapters recru
ited approximately 20 new
members each.
Council execs were held in
Chapel Hill, NC and turned out
to be a huge success. Alan
Shulimson, Karen Schuller,
Stacy Katz, Melissa Monosoff
and Inna Livchin attended the
convention. They learned all
types of leadership skills which
will enable them to effectively
guide their chapter to a very
active year. Upcoming conven
tions include MIT/AIT, Winter
Cultural which is held in Char
lotte and Regional Convention
in Winston Salem.
BBG just held a very success
ful attic sale. The members
donated items from their homes

The year is getting off to a
good start. Both chapters have
the energy to take their chapters
to new heights in the upcoming
year.
AZA and BBG are still accept
ing applications for anyone who
is interested in joining. If you are
in the ninth through twelfth
grades, Jewish and love to make
new friends, BBYO is for you.
