Debby was formerly the JCC’s Mem bership Director and the Shalom Park Room Registrar. Debby will continue to work on the J’s membership promotions, but will spend most of her time developing adult and cultural arts programming for the Cen ter. She has already started working on the winter class schedule and has come up with some interesting and innovative class ideas. The JCC is also pleased to announce that several promo tions have been awarded to our Health and P.E. staff. Millie Campbell has been promoted to Health and P.E. Director. Millie has been at the “J” since the new building opened seven years ago, working as the Director of Aquatics. She has already as sumed the H & PE directorship and is excited about the chal lenges ahead of her in this position. Eric Smith has been promoted to Athletic Director; Andrea Jones, our Fitness Di rector, has added to her job description by assuming the additional position of Health Club Director and Tim Frank has been promoted to Aquatics Director. Look for many changes and new programs from our terrific H & PE team. Nathalie Sowers has also been promoted from Youth Admin istrator to Assistant Youth Director. Nathalie has worked for the Center in a variety of positions for several years and in her new position will be in charge of birthday parties, after school programs, special needs and teen travel camp. Wanda Schwartz has been hired as the JCC’s Membership Administrator and the Shalom Park Room Registrar. Wanda moved to Charlotte from Atlan ta where she worked as office manager for the Zaban Jewish Community Center Preschool. She and her husband, Jim, who works for EMRO Marketing, have two children, Justin and Jessica. Stop by and welcome Wanda to our staff and to Charlotte. Becky Cohen has also as sumed a new responsibility for the JCC. Becky, who works as Production Coordinator for the Center, will also be the JCC’s Singles Coordinator, which will include the planning and imple menting of special programs.
