Members of the committee include: Sue Schneider, Anita Biederman, Beth Davis, Judy Au gust, and Mike Sinsheimer. Staff support was provided by Debby Block, director of the (Charlotte Jewish Preschool. The committee is extremely pleased to have chosen Play ground Environments based in Speonk, New York, as the Shalom Park playground contractor, Paul Ruschmeyer, of Playground.Envi- ronments’ Atlanta office, pro vided masterful expertise in artfully crafting an exemplary playground structure for Shalom Park. With Ruschmeyer’s guidance and assistance, the playground will be constructed by a group of volunteers from our Jewish com munity. While an exact date has not yet been chosen, the commit tee is targeting construction for a Sunday in late August or early September. As the excitement of building day approaches, we are in need of volunteers to wield shovels and hammers, cook hot dogs and ham burgers, baby-sit, help carry ma terials and even those who just want to root! Be part of the fun. Be where the action is. Bring a smile to your face as you participate in the play ground project. A project that will bring years of enjoyment to count less numbers of children here at shalom park.
