Please contact the Temple office for details on reservations. Temple members are en couraged to participate in the Seder Exchange Program as ei ther a host or guest for the First Seder on April 3. If you would like to share your Passover, please contact the Temple office. Special Shabbat services in April includeiFirst Friday Family Shabbat on April 5. A family-style service celebrating Pesach will begin at 7:30 PM A Sermon in Song will be led by Cantor Shepherd on April 12 at 8:00 PM. Rosh Chodesh Shabbat on April 19 at 8:00 PM will in clude participation by women who participate in the monthly Rosh Chodesh service. The Aduh Choir will sing Social Ac tion Shabbat on April 26 at 8:00 PM will feature special guest Peter Ascoli who will speak about the Neighborhood Partners Project. Religious School parents and students, please note that, due to the Passover holiday, there will be no Religious or Hebrew School on the following dales;Wednesday, April 3, Sun day, April 7, Monday, April 8,and Wednesday, April 10.2nd Mondays will meet at 7:30 PM on April 8 in Silverman Social Hall. The topic will be Choos ing Judaism. The Pesach Yizkor Ser vice will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 10. The Temple office is closed for busi ness on that day. The Service of Healing will be held on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 PM in the Gold Chapel. Tot Shabbat will feature a Pesach celebration on Saturday, April 13 at 9:15 AM. Attention Seniors! Join Rabbi Bennett on April 22 at 12:00 PM for the monthly Senior Seminar, a lunchtime educa tional forum. Bring your own lunch—the Temple will provid^ drinks. A PEP Talk (Parallel Edu cation for Parents) will be held on April 28 in 2 sessions, begin ning at 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM. The topic is The Bible as Litera ture. The SPICE Committee sponsors the 2nd in a series MUSEUM I Art Lecture on Monday, April 29 at 1:00 PM. This session features the work of Renoir. Community Blood Drive at Temple Israel Hugh Success On Sunday January 21st, the Temple Israel Men’s Club hosted a Red Cross Community Blood Drive, which turned out to be the most suc cessful blood drive at Shalom Park Over 120 units of blood were collected by the Red Cross during what is normally a time of the year when blood supplies are dangerously low. A hearty thank you to everyone who came to donate and volunteer and in so doing demonstrated to the Red Cross that the Jewish Commu nity really cares.
