Our sin cere appreciation goes out to the volunteer Youth Group Leaders who headed up each age group: Debbie Goldstein, Grades 3 & 4; Susan Marx and Esta VVemikoff, co-advisors for Grades 5 & 6; Linda Spil, grades 7 & 8; and Cherie Flitton, Grades 9-12 (LIB ERTY.) These dedicated women, along with many parent volunteers, planned and cooidinated a variety of monthly activities. The events of the year included a great assort ment of things to do, including: rollerskating, iceskating, cooking, swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing, celebrating holidays, Shabbat services, bowling, f>ottery and ceramics, pizza parties, ice cream parties, and several out standing community service pro jects such as volunteering time at the Metrolina Food Bank, the Homeless Shelter, FAED Center and the Room at the Inn program. The list goes on, but hopefully we provided a little something for everyone.
