Youth Visions
Consolidated High School of Jewish
Studies Salutes Outstanding Students
Five students were honored by
their teachers as having achieved
Honorable Menschen in all six
classes for the 1999-2000 school
year. They are: Dori Littman and
Leslie Waldinger in the eighth
grade, and Alyssa Gorelick,
Richard Gumpert and Alex Pharr
in the ninth grade. These students
are to be commended for their
exemplary class participation,
attendance and conduct. We are
very proud of you.

tary who delivered supplies to the
inhabitants of the annex during the
war. found the diary after the
Frank family wss discovered and
arrested in 1944. Anne died of
typhus in the Bergen-Belsen con
cent: jti^n ^^n.p in 1945. Gies
the Jfiry lo Otto, the
family’s only survivor, after he
was liberated from Auschwitz.
Exploris, which opened in
October 1999, is dedicated to
encouraging people of all ages to
respect differences and make con
nections with people around the
world. The facility is located at
201 East Hargett Street in down
town Raleigh. Admission is $6.95
for adults, $5.95 for seniors. $4.95
for children under 12, and $3.95
per person for groups of 10 or
niore. The Anne Frank exhibit is
scheduled to run for two years.
