The Temple Israel Men’s Club is pleased to offer the opportunity to its adult congregants to learn and read Hebrew through the Conservative Movement’s Hebrew Literacy Program. Enrollment cards will be placed at your High Holiday seats and may be submitted to the Temple Israel Office. This Fall we are offering two different classes. For those who want to learn the Friday Night Shabbat prayers and songs we offer the Shalom Aleichem intro ductory class. And for those who would like to become more famil iar with the Saturday morning Shabbat service we are offering an Ayn Keloheynu class. The 75- minute classes will be taught by other congregants who are profi cient in Hebrew and prayer ritual. Classes begin the week of October 15 and will run for about eight weeks. All participants will be given an easy-to-follow guide developed specifically for each class. Shabbat will never be the same experience for those who partici pate. Sign up by October 5. A professional panel including a prominent attorney, a well-known accountant, and a highly respected insurance expert will discuss planned giving, how it can benefit the Temple and save individuals tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
