Second Annual One for All Ball:
Embarking On Our Future Together
Sponsorship Sales Begin
The second annual One for All
Ball, “Embarking On Our Future
Together” will be held Saturday,
August 21, 2004, at the Westin
Charlotte Hotel. (Please note this
is a date change from the April
issue of the Charlotte Jewish
News). Save-the-Date cards were
mailed last month. Look for your
invitation in late June.
With the tremendous success of
the inaugural event, anticipation is
running high for similar success
this year. Three organizations.
Temple Israel, Temple Beth El and
the Jewish Community Center are
combining their fundraising
efforts in order to raise a total
$150,000 in 2004.
This year’s theme, “Embarking
On Our Future Together,” features
a cruise ship environment brought
to life at the Westin Hotel. Guests
will be treated to unsurpas.sed
service, unusual- activities and
unimaginable luxury. Seating
tables will be dressed as ports-of-
call throughout the world and you
may find yourself seated in the
tropics at the Tahiti table or cruis
ing through Alaska’s waterways.
In addition to an exciting
theme, this year’s event is focused
on fun. Entertainment will be
spread from deck to deck. The
highlight of the evening wijl be
the high-energy show by Dennis
Edwards and the “Temptations
Review.” Imagine those fabulous
Motown memories such as “My
Girl,” “Get Ready” or “Ain’t Too
Proud to Beg” brought to life. This
act, featuring the, one and only
original Temptation, Dennis
Edwards, will rock the boat with
their enthusiastic showmanship.
Organizational leaders and
committee members have begun
their sponsorship sales campaign.
Sponsorships are available in
every price range and the enter
tainment and amenities are
beyond compare. In addition to
the benefits below, all sponsors
are automatically registered for a
free cruise to be chosen at random
the night of the event. Just look
