A Message from the Executive Director...
A new program year for the Sandra and Leon Levine JCC is about to get underway and like
each of the previous years, 2004-05 will be marked by growth, excitement and challenge!
Our staff has worked diligently to put together an exceptional array of classes, activities and
program which fulfill our mission - to provide quality services to our membership, our Jewish
community, and the community-at-large.
You can counton the JCC to provide you with opportunities for physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual growth.
Take the time to read through the program insert to see the wonderful programs we offer. Whether it's your mind,
body or your social circle you prefer to stretch, there is something for everyone at the JCC.
Join us throughout the year at our special events such as the fabulous children’s play "Free to be You and Me!" and
the 10th Annual David Silverman Basketball Tournament. A fun time is guaranteed as your help strengthen the JCC.

Fall Program Registration
JCC Member Registration Begins Monday, August 16, 2004.
Non-Member Registration Begins Monday, August 30, 2004.
REGISTER ON-LINE AT WWW.CHARLOTTEJCC.ORG
You may begin registering for classes on the website, but your account must
be set up and approved for use before your FIRST on-line registration. To
set up your account go to www.charlottejcc.org. Click on login, click on
create an account and enter your information. Please allow 2 business days
for your account to be approved.
JCC Members may also register in-person or by telephone (704-366-5007)
beginning Monday, August 16, 2004 at 9:00am.
Non-Members may register on-line, in-person or by telephone beginning
Monday, August 30,2004 at 9:00am.
Payment Options
Payment options include cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and
Discover only).
Tuition Refund Policy
• Cancelled by the JCC before the start of the first class - 100%
• Cancelled by the JCC after the start of the first class - pro-rated refund
• Registrant withdraws prior to the start of first class - 10% administrative
fee (minimum charge $10)
• Registrant withdraws after 1st class - same as above plus a pro-rated refund
• Registrant withdraws after second class - NO REFUNDS.

one, reduced first year fee. Please

JCC Scholarship
It is the philosophy of the JCC that
no one is ever denied membership
because of an inability to. pay the
membership dues. If there are
special circumstances that require
adjustments and/or special
assistance, please contact the
Membership Services Director and
request a confidential interview.

Kashrut Policy
Kashrut is the Jewish dietary laws. They represent the both the rationale
and the laws regarding what traditional Jews are and are not permitted to
eat. The JCC of Charlotte is a Kosher facility and abides by the traditional
laws of Kashrut. This provides an environment that can be supported by
the broad spectrum of Jewish lifestyles in our community and that is
comfortable for all participants. Members and guests should respect the
dietary laws of Kashrut and be observant when attending or planning
meetings and programs.

JCC Guest Policy & Fees
Individual non members are welcome to use the JCC facilities as a guest of a JCC
•member. The same individual guest may use the Center only three times a year.
M Guests must be accompanied by their sponsoring member and must show
“ identification upon registration for their guest pass.
JCC Guest Fees
Guests of JCC members may use the JCC facilities a maximum of 3 times per year.
Under 2 Free Ages 3-18 $5 Ages18&Older $10
Guests NOT accompanied by a JCC member
A guest not accompanied by a JCC member is limited to three visits in per year and
must provide a photo id when purchasing a guest pass.
Prospective members may buy a maximum of three guest passes with the
understanding that the fee will be applied to their membership if purchased within
30 days and a receipt is provided.
