Graduation 2006

On June 7, the Barbara and Jerry Levin Jewish
Middle School will graduate its biggest class to
date. Our four eighth grade students; David
Gleiberman, Adam Finck, Rebecca Raffler, and
Debra Farber will receive their middle school
graduation certificates and move on to the world
of high school. Congratulations, graduates, and
good luck.

On Thursday, April 27, the
Barbara and Jerry Levin Jewish
Middle School held its annual raf
fle. The students sold over $4200
worth of tickets which exceeded
our fundraising goal of 50% of our
total budget for the trip. The stu
dents took turns spinning a
“Wheel of Prizes” to determine
for which of our eleven wonderful
prizes they would draw.
Altogether, we gave away over
$2500 in prizes.
While the BJLJMS raffle has
many winners each year, none are
as lucky as our students them
selves. They are the real benefac
tors of the annual raffle, which is
designed to assist them in paying
for the educational trip that we
take each year. Therefore, I would
like to personally thank each fam
ily or individual who purchased a
ticket this year. Your generosity
has helped a young learner
achieve his or her goal. Thank
you.
