Fleischer, White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush from 2001-2003, will speak about his experiences as a Jewish mem ber of the White House staff, as well as US/Middle Eastern pol itics and the upcoming 2008 elections. The event will take place on Sunday evening, October 21, at 7 PM in Lemer Hall at the Jewish Community Center. The event is free and open to the public. As the voice of the Bush administration during very chal lenging days, Mr. Fleischer articulated White House strate gies during terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, as well as the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. With unique knowl edge of century-shaping events, he offers audiences an unparal leled look at the underpinnings of presidential politics and the decisions that shape our lives. Fleischer also reflects on his White House tenure as a Jewish employee, sharing personal sto ries of how those pieces of his life complimented one another. After leaving the White House, he formed his own con sulting firm, Ari Fleischer Communications.
