While working hard to sustain the Jewish agen cies in our area, we have also pushed to enhance our impact - locally and abroad. We are proud of the many accomplish ments that establish the Federation as the center of our community’s philanthropy. We are enormously grateful to our leaders, volunteers, staff, agen cies and synagogues. Without them, we could not succeed. We are most thankful to our donors, whose vision, philanthropy and commitment drive all that we do to build a strong and vibrant Jewish community. Preceding the meeting was a moving ceremony in observance of Yom Flazikaron followed by a special Community Yom Fla’atzmaut (Independence Day) Concert, featuring Israeli Musical Group, Kolot. This year in addition to celebrating Israel’s 61st, we also commem orated the centennial anniver sary of the founding of Tel Aviv, the Middle East’s highest-rank- ing world city. Over 200 people were clapping and dancing in the aisles as KOLOT enter tained them with traditional Jewish and contemporary Israeli music. ^ JEWISH^ FEDE^RATION^ 'ER CHARLOTTE Local, Global, Eternal I ■ "#1 NAMEPLATE IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WITH DEALER SERVICE, TWO YEARS IN A ROW" JAGUAR SCOTT JAGUAR IN HONOR OF OUR J.D.
