Temple Beth El will be order
ing lulav and etrog sets. They are
$40, and will be delivered to the
Temple office in the Blumenthal
Education Building. If you would
like a set for your home, you may
order it in two ways: 1) via
our website at as www.beth-
el.com/eshop.html; or 2) by mak
ing your check payable to Temple
Beth El and mailing it to us at
5101 Providence Road, Charlotte,
NC 28226, by no later than Friday,
September 10. Please also include
your phone number and/or email
address where you can be reached.
We will notify you once the
lulav and etrog sets have been
delivered so you can arrange to

forward to a new minimester and
another round of impassioned

Deborah Zuker, a senior rab
binical student at the Jewish
Theological Seminary, has been
named the Legacy Heritage Fund
Rabbinic Fellow at Congregation
Emanuel Statesville, NC.
Most recently she served as the
rabbinic intern at Westchester
Jewish Center in Mamaroneck,
NY.
A native of Ottawa, Ontario
she obtained her undergraduate
degree from Queen’s University,
Kingston, Ontario.
Zuker has an MA in Jewish
Studies from JTS and a MSW
from Columbia University with a
focus on hospice care.
She will be serving
Congregation Emanuel through
May 2011.
