The Charlotte Jewish News - March 2012 - Page 14 Holocaust Historian to Speak March 29 at Temple Beth El World-renowned Holoeaust historian Christopher Browning will speak at Temple Beth El on Thursday, Mareh 29 at 7:30 PM on “Holoeaust History and Survivor Testimony.” The event is free and open to the publie. Browning will draw from his most reeent book, Remembering Survival: Inside a Nazi Slave Labor Camp (2010), an award winning study of life and death in a little-known Nazi slave-labor eamp in Poland based on testi monies of some 300 survivors. Browning is the Frank Porter Graham Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
