Mr. Raviv’s extensive experienee in foreign poliey and affairs was evident as he relayed aneedotes from the past, as well as eurrent observa tions about the evolv ing situation in southern Israel. After the talk, he signed eopies of his new book Spies Against Armageddon: Inside Israel's Secret Wars, Attendees were eneouraged to wear red elothing as part of the CODE RED - Stop the Roekets Faeebook Campaign. This joint initiative between the Jewish Andrew Bernstein, Israel Chair, Glenda Bern hardt, Community Relations Council Chair, Dan Raviv, CBS correspondent and guest speaker, Rachael Levine, Director of Community Rela tions and Israel Affairs, all wore red to show sol idarity with Israel. Ageney for Israel and the Aus tralasian Union of Jewish Stu dents provided an opportunity for eommunity members to stand in solidarity with Israel and draw attention to the Tzeva Adorn (Code Red) sirens that sound when the eitizens of Most of those in attendance wore red.
