Together, We Do Extraordinary
Things
The Jewish Community Relations Couneil (JCRC) promotes
the interests of the Charlotte Jewish eommunity by ereating
working relationships with our neighbors and serving as the eol-
leetive voiee of the Jewish eommunity. The JCRC’s Luneh at the
Park invites members of the greater Charlotte eommunity -in
eluding eleeted offieials, eivie leaders, not for profit organiza
tions, interfaith leaders - to eome and get to know the Charlotte
Jewish eommunity. The group spends time over luneh learning
about the Jewish eommunity has to offer and how relations ean
be strengthened with these individuals. Luneh at the Park for Oe-

In order to meet the needs of
our Jewish eommunity at home,
in Israel and around the world,
the Jewish Federation of Greater
Charlotte has set a goal of
$3,500,000 for the 2014 Cam
paign.
When you eonneet with Fed
eration, you put the Jewish val
ues of eompassion, generosity
and responsibility into aetion.
We work together eaeh and
every day to improve the lives of
people in our eommunity, in Is
rael and in 70 eountries around
the world.
The Federation eares for peo
ple in need, responds in times of
erisis, and nurtures the Jewish
eommunity today and for future
generations.
Federation is all members of
our eommunity, working to
gether to repair the world and to
keep Jewish life strong and
thriving.
The funds raised by our 2014
Annual Campaign ensure that
the programs, institutions and
values that enrieh our Jewish
eommunity remain vibrant and
strong. No family should have to
ehoose between paying the rent
and paying for a ehild’s Jewish
edueation, or between summer
eamp and a family trip to Israel.
That’s why we invest in the
strength of our people by mak
ing experienees that build Jew
ish identity available to
everyone. Whether you eonneet
to the power of eommunity
through love of Israel or love of
learning, through soeial aetion
or soeial events, you are a val
ued member of our Jewish fam
ily. That’s why the Jewish
Federation’s annual fundraising
eampaign is so important.
As a generous eommunity we
ean do extraordinary things to
make the world a better plaee.
