“What I Know Now: Letters to
My Younger Self”
If you could go back, grab
your younger self by the shoul
ders and speak to her, what
would you say?
Remember the last time you
said, “If I knew then what I
know now?” Haven’t we all
been there and done that? Well,
get out your calendars ladies be
cause this is an event you
wouldn’t want to miss. If you
ever wondered whether you
could go back in time to help
yourself in the past then pay it
forward into the future, then you
should join us for this special
presentation of the Jewish Fed
eration’s new initiative, Engag-
irs ONLY IN
LOOkINtS 6ACU.

thropy.
This is where it all begins.
With women. Sharing with
other women. Sharing the tradi
tions, stories, laughter, and tears
that will bring full circle the im
portance of life’s special mo
ments and the role women play
in shaping our community.
Ellyn Spragins has worked
with famous women such as
Madeleine Albright, Queen
Noor of Jordan, Kate Spade, and
many more, to write letters to
the women they once were. The
letters are filled with advice and
wisdom that every woman
wishes she could have had at a
key point in her life. On January
12, three inspiring women from
our community. Rabbi Judy
Schindler, Stacey
Simms, and Emily
Zimmern, will
join this remark
able group of
women who chose
to share their inner
journeys with the
world.
As Spragins
says, “Choosing to
grow during trying
contemporary Jewish women, to
engage new cadres of partici
pants and leaders in our com
munities and to inspire other
Jewish women. We believe the
future of the Jewish community
depends upon the strength of ^
these endeavors, and we are r
committed to the fulfillment of ^
%
this
vision.

Look for them at the Purim

it’s better than Google, because
